Reference No: 25342 Professional category: Commercial Workload: 100% Employment type: Permanent position Work location: Zürich Language skills: German (native language) On exclusive assignment for an established, manufacturing industrial company with several locations in Switzerland, we are looking for a committed personality as Deputy Head of Dispatching.   In this versatile function, you will take on a central role in operative dispatching, coordinate drivers and vehicles, and support the Head of Dispatching in daily operations. A responsible position with a lot of autonomy, short decision-making paths, and a long-term perspective awaits you.   Deputy Head of National Dispatching 100% (m/f/d) # Your tasks:   In this function, you and the team will ensure that everything is in the right place at the right time in daily operations.   • Assumption of operative responsibility in the absence of the Head of Dispatching • Functional leadership of the drivers in operative daily business • Operative dispatching and coordination of the drivers • Planning and dispatching of bulk and piece goods vehicles • Receipt, recording, and processing of orders • Handling of customer inquiries via telephone, e-mail, and via digital customer portals • Management and coordination of the drivers in daily business • Ensuring efficient vehicle and deployment planning • Creation of VeVA and ADR documents as well as ensuring relevant safety and environmental regulations • Administration and control of qualifications and certificates, especially CZV • Maintenance and use of systems • Maintenance of relevant master and movement data as well as ensuring data flows regarding ARV, LSVA, and internal billing • Organization of load carrier management • Coordination of vehicle administration including MFK, repairs, maintenance, and LSVA topics • Active support in the further development of workflows and processes   What you bring with you:   • Completed commercial or technical basic training • Professional experience in dispatching, transport logistics, or a comparable environment • Good geographical knowledge of Switzerland • Very good German skills in speaking and writing • Confident handling of common PC applications and enjoyment of digital tools • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working • Strong customer and service orientation • Communication strength and a confident manner with different contact persons • Resilience and the ability to set priorities correctly even with high order volume • Team spirit, reliability, loyalty, and discretion • Strong cost and quality awareness What you can look forward to:   In addition to an exciting task with a lot of personal responsibility, a stable working environment with a long-term perspective awaits you.   • Attractive annual salary of CHF 90'000 to CHF 100'000, depending on experience, education, and further training • 5 weeks vacation • Much personal responsibility and room for maneuver • Short decision-making paths • Varied activity with direct influence on operative daily business • Modern work equipment and established processes • Cooperation with an experienced and well-coordinated team • Secure working environment in an established Swiss industrial company • Long-term professional perspective   Sound exciting?   Then we look forward to getting to know you.
