Teamleader:in Sorting (Avanti Development Program) Permanent Night Shift

What you can achieve

• In this role, you will get to know all work areas of the Briefzentrum Zürich-Mülligen during 12 months.
• Build your knowledge step-by-step by taking on tasks from goods receipt through sorting and picking to goods dispatch.
• Additionally, in the control center, you will monitor the correct process flows and technical systems, getting to know the daily operations and experiencing the sorting center from different perspectives.
• You will have the chance to network internally through your diverse assignments and understand the overall processes of a sorting center.
• Use the opportunity to gain cross-departmental operational and leadership experience, while being accompanied and supported by a member of the management.
• After successful completion, versatile development opportunities open up - whether in team leadership or sub-area leadership. The training is the springboard for your logistics career.

What you bring with you

• You have completed your basic training and preferably possess further training (Fachausweis).
• Ideally, you have several years of professional experience and want to develop yourself in the field of leadership.
• A strong affinity for numbers as well as interest in the logistics industry and organizationally demanding tasks characterize you.
• You are open to people and changes, have a winning, confident and solution-oriented personality and enjoy taking on responsibility and leadership tasks.
• In hectic situations, you keep a cool head and show both physical and mental resilience.
• You are ready to work in the permanent night shift (working time window from 20.00-06.00) including Sundays (working time window from 18.00 - 05.00). During the 12 months of the Avanti development program, you will also be deployed for approx. 16 weeks in the early and late shifts so that you receive comprehensive insights into all areas. (Early shift 06:00-15:00 / Late shift 14:05-23:00) including weekends.
