Job description Set up job subscription   Claims Inspector Foreign Claims (w/m/d) # Insurance Directorate / Bern, Nyon, Zürich  / Experienced professionals  / Permanent/ 80%-100% What awaits you ## As part of XpertCenter AG, a company of the Mobiliar Group, you will support and advise customers in claim settlement in the areas of motor business, abuse prevention, recourse management, case management, and foreign claims. What you will achieve with us ## With us, you will undergo a multi-year induction and training program with the aim of taking over the role as Claims Inspector Foreign Claims after successful completion. Step by step, you will deepen your knowledge in the subject of foreign claims and develop professionally and personally for this demanding function.   Starting with medium-complexity property damage in the motor vehicle liability sector, you will develop towards the independent processing of demanding personal and property damage in all liability sectors, as well as claim cases from all property sectors such as theft, fire, or water with a foreign connection. As part of your activity, you will undertake the final settlement of claim cases and inspect them on-site directly with our customers if necessary.   With increasing experience, you will process complex dossiers such as disability claims, fatalities, or highly complex general liability cases in pure French and participate independently in lawyer meetings. In addition, you will ensure the enforcement of social and private insurance recourse abroad, support the claims services of the directorate and the general agencies in technical matters, and maintain intensive contact with our partners abroad. What you bring with you ## • Completed basic training in the insurance industry, completed federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis) in private insurance is a plus • Professional experience in the claims department as well as knowledge of liability law • Independent and solution-oriented way of working • Team-oriented, flexible, and negotiation-confident personality • Native language German or French with excellent knowledge of the respective other language in speaking and writing, further languages are an advantage Work with us ## The Foreign Claims team awaits you, consisting of clerks, specialists, and claims inspectors. Together they live an engaged, solution-oriented, and communicative working atmosphere. Your workload is negotiable from 80% and your place of work is in Bern, Zürich-Oerlikon, or Nyon upon request. During the first 3 months, the place of work is fixed in Bern. After that, regular meetings between the claims inspectors take place in Bern.
