Hoffmann - La Roche AG in Kaiseraugst, we are looking for a Process Engineer Pharma Engineering ========================================== Background: The Homebase Pharma Engineering is looking for a Process Engineer Pharma Engineering in the DP Solids KAU circle for the Basel/Kaiseraugst site. As a Process Engineer, you are part of the "Pharma Engineering Drug Product" circle at the Kaiseraugst site. You are responsible for innovative, GMP-compliant engineering and the reliable operation of complex production facilities in galenics. In a modern working environment, you support business partners from the first idea to project implementation to life-cycle management of systems. As a operating engineer in the solid area of launch production in LSL in Kaiseraugst, you are primarily responsible for the maintenance of the systems throughout their life cycle and provide support to operations for technical inquiries. As part of the operating engineering, renovations, problem solutions, and efficiency improvements are implemented in direct collaboration with customers. Orders and projects are processed without hierarchies in self-organized specialist teams with a new role-based work model. This requires a high degree of self-organization, foresight, and team spirit as well as pronounced communication skills. Tasks & Responsibilities: • Efficient and effective operating engineering of our galenic solid facilities in Kaiseraugst • Creation, maintenance, testing, and approval of project, plant, qualification, and SGU documentation (SGU = Safety, Health, Environment) • Implementation and ensuring the state of the art and regulatory and internal regulations/guidelines in the area of SGU and GMP • Proactive support of customers in defining and initiating investment projects including cost estimates and schedules • Leadership of projects and orders with responsibility for technical solutions, costs, and deadlines Must Haves: • Technical basic training with a completed scientific degree (FH/TU), e.g. process engineering/pharmaceutical engineering/mechanical engineering or similar • At least 5 years of professional experience in operating engineering and/or design of galenic facilities • In-depth understanding of GMP and process engineering requirements for process plants and package units from the field of solid dosage form production • Experience in the field of containment for employee and product protection • Willingness to work in an agile, self-organized work environment • Very good German language skills and good English language skills are required • Independence, initiative, and integrity • Goal-oriented, flexible way of working to quickly respond to customer requests • Questioning conventional thinking patterns and openness to new, creative ideas - also outside of familiar fields • High social competence, team ability, and very good communication and coordination skills also in dealing with stakeholders of different seniority.
