The Amt für Jugend und Berufsberatung Kanton Zürich, office for the districts of Affoltern, Dietikon, Horgen, is a cantonal competence center that offers professional support in the areas of family/youth and career counseling. The Kinder- und Jugendhilfezentrum (kjz) is a counseling center for families, parents, adolescents, children as well as toddlers and works on the basis of the Kinder- und Jugendhilfegesetz of the Canton of Zürich.

For our kjz team in Dietikon, we are looking for a social worker as of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.

Tasks ###

You advise and accompany children, adolescents and parents within the framework of child protection measures in mandate management as well as on a voluntary basis. In addition, you carry out investigations in cases of suspected child welfare endangerment on behalf of the Kinder- und Erwachsenenschutzbehörden (KESB). You fulfill your tasks in cooperation with family systems, authorities, schools as well as other institutions and specialist centers.

Profile ###

You have a degree in Social Work (FH) and bring experience in youth and family assistance. We are looking for you as a solution-oriented and resilient personality with high social competencies, an appreciative basic attitude and joy in teamwork. Administrative activities as well as the creation of reports and file notes are easy for you.
