Die Stiftung Märtplatz accompanies young people with psychological and social difficulties on their way to vocational training and an independent life. In different professional fields, we create practical training positions with the goal of professional integration.

Due to the retirement of our long-standing workshop manager, we are looking for as of May 2027 a

Workshop Manager Joinery 100 %

You combine sound joinery craftsmanship with vocational training and enjoy accompanying and promoting young people on their way into the working world. Together with our apprentices at EFZ and EBA levels, you realize individual customer orders and marketable products made of solid wood.

Your tasks

• Professional and personal support of the apprentices in their training and development
• Planning and organizational implementation of internal and external customer orders together with the apprentices
• Ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines
• Maintenance of customer contacts taking into account the training goals of our apprentices
• Design and further development of the joinery's service offering
• Close cooperation with the department management, case management, and other training areas
• Cooperation with external bodies such as IV and vocational schools

What you bring with you

• Completed vocational training as a joiner EFZ
• Experience in the training and support of apprentices
• Experience in work preparation as well as in the complete processing of customer orders
• Joy and manual dexterity in the processing of solid wood
• High social competence, resilience, empathy, and humor
• Interest in the connection of craftsmanship and agogics as well as in resource- and solution-oriented support
• Good German skills in speaking and writing as well as confident PC user skills
• Driver's license category B
