Our medical specialist staff plays an indispensable role in the care process of the customers. You act as direct contact persons and take over professional and individual care. Optometrist (60-100%)
Tasks
Independent performance of ophthalmic and optometric examinations as part of daily clinical life under the supervision of our ophthalmologists
Management and active accompaniment of the premium consultation hours
Performance of technical examinations such as:
Autorefraction
Visual acuity test
Intraocular pressure measurement
OCT, biometry
Topography
Visual field measurements
Assessment and interpretation of the examination results
Prescription of glasses prescriptions as well as adaptation of contact lenses to simulate refractive options
Close cooperation with the doctors and medical specialist staff
Opportunity, if interested, to take on additional tasks and responsibility
Job Requirements
Completed studies as an Optometrist (BSc) or dipl. Optician
Registration in NAREG as an Optometrist is an advantage
Professional experience in an ophthalmic medical environment is desirable
Strong sense of responsibility and careful way of working
Enjoyment in dealing with patients
Willingness for regular further training (at least according to SBAO specifications)
Flexibility to step in at other locations if required
