Bern, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% Your contribution <br /> • Ensure the planning of services for all basic instruction services (SIB) in order to optimize the use of training areas, instruction infrastructures and accommodation, as well as coordinate the concertation relating to the use of weapon, shooting and training grounds managed at the central level and optimize the use of military instruction infrastructures and accommodation • Independently assume responsibility for data relating to services and occupation in accordance with the Concept relating to billeting and ensure its management in the four IT systems, in the army planning module (APM), respectively in the army central and reference database (KERDA), in the occupation planning system (BELPLAN) and in InfraScout Miliz • Technically and administratively follow the specialist application for occupation planning BELPLAN which counts approx. 1700 users and the centralized shooting notices (ZenSA) with approx. 120 users, provide support and advice to users and assist external sites connected to the specialist application • Design, plan and carry out training concerning specialist applications in the official languages as well as develop and update teaching material and user manuals • Draft position papers and process requests coming from military and civil circles relating to service and occupation planning, to BELPLAN and to centralized shooting notices as well as draft new instructions and directives and update those already existing • Ensure the correct representation and observance of the Concept relating to billeting in BELPLAN and contribute to the further development of specialist applications within IT projects <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • University of applied sciences diploma or higher specialist training in a sector relevant to the function (e.g. IT, project management) with 2-3 years of relevant experience for the function • Excellent IT knowledge, particularly in the field of databases and geographic information systems • Good knowledge in project management, preferably according to the HERMES method, experience in the field of IT projects and in the use of specialist applications • Strong ability to reason analytically, interdisciplinarily and conceptually, good editorial skills as well as an autonomous, goal-oriented and quality-driven way of working • Written and oral knowledge of a second official language • Experience in military staff work at troop corps level or higher constitutes an advantage <br /> In summary Do you want to contribute, together with a motivated and dynamic team, to the coordinated planning of services and occupation of the army?
