Counting nearly 1200 employees, the [Département de médecine aiguë](< >)(D-MA) includes the services of clinical anesthesiology, pharmacology and toxicology, adult intensive care and adult emergencies. It responds to a quadruple mission through its services which provide their expertise in frequent interaction with all the Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève, thanks to a transversal platform, with the objective of ensuring the best possible care for patients. The Intensive Care Service takes care of adult patients who present or are in immediate danger of developing vital organ failures in the context of a pathology or its complications, whether medical or surgical, and whose vital risk is generally engaged. It also advises and intervenes if necessary during resuscitation situations in other HUG services and participates in urgent hospital interventions. Chief Resident with or without specialty title in the Adult Intensive Care Service - 80% to 100% As part of a reorganization in a context of perpetual improvement of the quality of life at work for professionals and the quality of care to patients, we are strengthening our adult intensive care (resuscitation) medical team. In this new organization, conducive to a work-life balance, you will ensure the care of the patient population of the adult intensive care (resuscitation) service and actively participate in the training and supervision activities of the service's resident doctors, research activities as well as the development of intensive medicine. Qualifications You hold a federal medical diploma or equivalent recognized by the OFSP (MEBEKO) and the right to practice in the canton of Genève. A specialty title in intensive medicine is an asset. For non-French speaking candidates, a certified C1 level is required. You benefit from a minimum experience of two or three years in intensive medicine, resuscitation or anesthesiology. You have ease in communication, an open mind, good listening skills and a synthesizing spirit. You are a dynamic, flexible, enthusiastic, discreet and tenacious person.
