• You are active at the BVGer as a judge with French as a language.

What makes you unique

• University degree in law, ideally a bar admission
• Several years of professional experience, preferably at a cantonal court, in the legal profession, or in public administration
• Interest in the following legal areas: antitrust law, public procurement law, intellectual property, financial market law, education; and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with individual subject matters
• Efficient way of working, decisiveness, teamwork skills, flexibility and high social competence
• Leadership competence and resilience
• French as primary language, very good knowledge of a second official language and, ideally, good passive knowledge of a third official language
• Swiss citizenship

The Bundesverwaltungsgericht decides on appeals against decisions of federal authorities. In certain subject areas, the court is also responsible for reviewing cantonal decisions. Furthermore, it acts as a court of first instance in lawsuit proceedings.
