Project Engineer Biomass/Biogas

You plan and develop biomass and biogas plants and take over the technical management of conversion and new construction projects.

Tasks

• Independent management of smaller conversion and renewal projects from planning to implementation
• Technical processing of larger new construction projects in coordination with the overall project management
• Creation of conceptual designs, definition of interfaces and component design
• Creation of technical reports, documents and specifications
• Execution of tenders, awards and supplier processing
• Representation as client and coordination of building permit procedures with authorities

Profile

• Completed studies in process engineering, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar
• At least 5 years of professional experience in process plant engineering
• Knowledge of biogas, fermentation, composting or wood energy is an advantage
• Experience with mass/energy balances, flow diagrams, P&IDs and HAZOP
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations such as ATEX, SVGW, Machinery and Pressure Equipment Directive is an advantage
• Very good German skills in spoken and written
