Mobile Director of after-school structures (80%)

After-school childcare structures (APEMS) represent one of the key links in Lausanne's family policy. Located near schools, APEMS meet the needs of families in the various neighborhoods of the city and are established in the heart of neighborhoods, near or within educational establishments. They offer quality educational supervision.

The Service des écoles et du parascolaire brings together approximately 40 structures and is preparing for several evolutions, leading to an enlargement of teams and the number of children cared for. The objective of this position is to replace absent directors or support existing directors and offers a great opportunity to join a stimulating team and contribute to maintaining and developing a caring and professional reception.

Main mission(s)

Assume management of the after-school structure in order to guarantee the safety, well-being, and quality of services for the children welcomed

Direct and supervise a multidisciplinary team

Contribute to staff training

Guarantee and assume the administrative and financial management of the structure

Develop a pedagogical project including families, professional partners, and associations

Be the guarantor of the application of the reception concept (downloadable on the website

Profile

HES or ES diploma recognized by the LAJE (Loi sur l'accueil de jour de l'enfance)

CAS in team management and project management (required or to be completed within two years)

Minimum 4 years of professional educational experience in the field of childhood since obtaining the prerequisite title

Confirmed professional experience in team management

Professional experience in the participatory development of pedagogical projects

Knowledge of the challenges related to collective after-school childcare, an asset

Proven organizational skills

Leadership aptitude and team spirit

Systemic vision and critical thinking

Great capacity for adaptation, mobility, and flexibility

Excellent mastery of MS Office tools

Special conditions
