Account Manager

The VDL Gruppe is an international, very successful family business headquartered in Eindhoven (NL) with over 100 subsidiaries in 16 countries. The Swiss branch with around 190 employees is located in Trübbach SG. We are active in the system integration of high-precision components, mechatronic systems, and complete OEM modules in the high-tech industry. Our specializations include 5-axis milling up to 4 meter component size, turning, vacuum brazing, production of vacuum containers including leak testing, and the assembly and commissioning of systems & assemblies also in cleanroom environments (ISO 6) as well as wet and dry cleaning (RGA).

Your exciting and versatile area of responsibility:
Maintenance and expansion of existing customer relationships as well as acquisition of new customers
Identification of new business opportunities and acquisition of new customers
Creation and follow-up of offers as well as processing of customer inquiries
Conducting price, project, and technical negotiations
Close cooperation with technology, development, and manufacturing
Representation of the company at customer meetings as well as telephone and written customer support

Your convincing profile:
Technical training or studies (engineering, natural sciences, etc.)
Several years of experience as an Account Manager in a technical environment as well as a good network
Experience in the entire sales process from offer creation to delivery
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Structured, customer-oriented, and solution-oriented way of working
Team player with experience in an international environment and in project work
Business fluent German and English skills
Good SAP R/3 and MS-Office knowledge (especially Excel)
International willingness to travel of approx. 10 %
