Expert Group Controlling Financial Administration Expert Group Controlling 80 - 100% The Financial Administration organizes the finances of the Canton of Zürich and enables a complete overview. On behalf of the Government Council, it prepares the budget with financial plan and the accounts of the canton. It prepares financial decisions of the Government Council, ensures efficient accounting and provides corresponding services for the entire administration. The Steering Financial Budget department, reconstituted as of 1. January 2027, prepares the budget, the financial planning of the canton and creates the financial reporting. It manages cross-directorate projects for the further development of financial processes and systems and runs the specialist office (performance recording with expenditure report) of the canton. For the further development of the group-wide controlling processes and systems, as well as for its practical implementation, we are looking for an experienced, team-oriented, service-oriented and motivated scientific staff member 80%-100% as of immediately or by arrangement. Your Tasks The varied activity includes the following tasks: Taking over process responsibility for the cantonal controlling processes for further development, especially harmonization and automation, of financial planning processes Advising other administrative units in the conception of controlling processes, taking over project management or participating in interdisciplinary project teams Close cooperation with the functional and technical application manager SAP CO in projects in the controlling area Participation in the creation of the financial plan of the canton (Consolidated Development and Financial Plan) including support of the SAP applications Creating various chapters of the annual report (e.g. "Finances at a glance") Answering special questions regarding the state budget based on evaluations, in particular from SAP or Business Warehouse (BW) Preparation of information for the Finance Director Development of applications to the Government Council regarding the financial planning of the canton Your Profile University or university of applied sciences degree at Master's level (Business Administration or Economics) as well as several years of proven relevant professional experience in group controlling Sound know-how in the SAP and Business Warehouse environment, SAC is an advantage Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, an exact way of working and strong editorial skills, with which you can represent complicated facts in simple, understandable language Solution-oriented cooperation with other administrative units Open to changes and new substantive challenges Knowledge of the project method HERMES is an advantage We offer Do you want to shape, change and move?
