The cdmt Instr includes Higher Officer Training, Army Personnel, five application training centers, the Army Instruction Center, as well as the specialized service Women in the Army and diversity. One third of the approximately 2350 employees practice civilian professions in scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative, or sporting fields and, along with career soldiers, contribute to the success of the army. The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 employees in four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland.
