Le Service de l-action sociale brings together l-Office de coordination des prestations sociales, l-Office de coordination pour les questions dans le domaine du handicap and l-Office de l-asile.

Your tasks

• You ensure the management of files and the individualized social follow-up of the references assigned to you and write the necessary reports and documents
• You assess the needs of beneficiaries and accompany them in their social and administrative steps, promoting their autonomy and self-determination
• You implement case management aimed at supporting their training path and their social and professional integration
• You coordinate interventions with partners from the social, medical, educational, and training networks

Your profile

• You hold a Bachelor in social work (SEFRI recognition for foreign diplomas); a trainer practitioner diploma would be an asset
• You have a good knowledge of the asylum system, social insurance, and the application standards of social assistance directives and standards
• You have excellent adaptation, listening, and communication skills, as well as a pronounced aptitude for working in a team
• You have a sense of responsibility, organization, and a good capacity for analysis in complex situations
• French native language
• Knowledge of other languages would be an asset

Commencement of duties - Special conditions

• Start date: 1er novembre or to be agreed
• Fixed-term engagement: the duration of the contract is linked to variations in the number of people that the canton has the obligation to welcome under the federal law on asylum
