This is the contribution you can make

• Independent participation in legislation projects of fedpol as well as processing of political matters;
• Advising the directorate, specialist units and external partners on legal issues in the entire field of activity of fedpol (especially in data protection, police, criminal and administrative law as well as in contract law)
• Specialized advice in public personnel law and in the instruction management of fedpol;
• Participating in the representation of fedpol before federal authorities and courts
• Answering access requests according to BGÖ

What makes you unique

• University degree in law at Master's level, ideally with a bar admission (Anwaltspatent)
• Professional experience in legislation as well as proven interest in relevant legal fields
• Excellent editorial skills, eloquent oral expression and analytical thinking
• Organizational talent and creativity, resilience and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
• Very good active knowledge of at least two of our official languages

fedpol in action for Switzerland -- anytime & everywhere

Crime Prevention and Law (KPR) operates competence centers for crime prevention, legal issues, data compliance and the fight against money laundering (MROS) as well as the area of violence at sporting events.
The Legal Department (RA) is the competence center for legal issues. The RA conducts the legislation projects of fedpol and advises the directorate and the line on legal issues, especially in personnel and procurement matters.
