Expert Windows Client Engineer / Workplace Architect # (m/f/d) freelance/in temporary permanent employment for a project Bern Start date: 09/26 Reference number: 890515/1 Project information ### • No sub-contracting possible, exclusively personnel leasing via Hays (Schweiz) Tasks ### • Further development and co-design of the Windows Client and Workplace architecture in an enterprise environment with around 25'000 end devices • Support of the engineering teams with complex technical questions, analyses, disturbances and solution designs • Advising Product Owners and Product Managers on tactical and strategic topics regarding Workplace, Endpoint Management and Cloud Transformation • Development, operation and optimization of modern client management and endpoint management solutions • Conception and automation of Windows deployment processes using Windows Autopilot, Enrollment and Provisioning • Analysis of existing architectures as well as derivation of improvements regarding security, compliance, performance and scalability • Further development of patch, release, change, configuration and operation processes • Participation in the introduction of new Windows versions, technologies and operating models • Development of automations, scripts and tools with PowerShell as well as optionally C#/.NET • Participation in IT projects, architecture initiatives, tests and continuous improvement programs Profile ### • Completed training in computer science, higher vocational training or comparable qualification • Experience in Windows Client Engineering, Workplace Engineering or Endpoint Management • Experience in large and complex IT environments with several thousand managed clients • Sound knowledge of Windows 10/11, Client Management, software distribution, Patch Management and Client Security • Practical experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Entra ID as well as modern endpoint management solutions • Very good knowledge of automation with PowerShell • Experience in creating architecture concepts, technical target images and decision bases • Know-how in the area of Security, Compliance, Hardening and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint • Knowledge of C#, .NET or comparable development technologies is an advantage • Very good German and English skills as well as willingness for regular on-site assignments in Bern Benefits ### • Responsible and varied activity in a technically exciting environment • Access to the most modern technologies and tools • Remote possibility
