It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and canton-wide applications for directorates, authorities, the judiciary, and independent institutions. Entrusted with the implementation of the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the Amt für Informatik accompanies and supports the Canton of Zürich into the digital world. Lead complex digitalization projects and help shape the project landscape of the canton. As a Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst, you take on the overall operational responsibility for leading demanding IT, organizational, and digitalization projects of the Amt für Informatik. You are part of the Project Portfolio Governance team and act in your projects as a central interface between clients, specialist departments, architecture, operations, and external service providers. In doing so, you lead interdisciplinary project teams professionally and ensure that viable and implementable solutions are created. Your tasks: You take on the overall operational responsibility for leading complex IT, organizational, and digitalization projects – from initialization to successful project completion. You plan and control your projects with regard to costs, deadlines, resources, risks, quality, and benefits and are responsible for project controlling and reporting. You lead interdisciplinary project teams professionally, coordinate participants across organizational and specialist boundaries, and ensure compliance with project and portfolio governance. As a link between the specialist department and IT, you translate functional needs into implementable solutions using Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering. You perform active stakeholder management, moderate workshops and steering committees, and bring different interests together to reach viable decisions. In procurements and evaluations, you take on project responsibility and coordinate the involved specialist departments. Your profile: Several years of proven experience in leading complex IT, organizational, or digitalization projects. Sound project management competence, ideally with HERMES 2022 Advanced or a comparable certification. Experience in Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering as well as a strong understanding of the cooperation between specialist departments and IT. Sound experience with common project and control tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Microsoft 365, or SharePoint. Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as the ability to quickly grasp complex issues and prepare them appropriately for the target audience. Very good moderation, communication, and negotiation skills as well as a confident, reliable appearance. Very good German skills in speaking and writing as well as good professional English skills.
