What you can contribute

• Collaborate autonomously on fedpol legislative projects and handle political affairs
• Advise the Management, specialized units, and external partners on legal issues within the global scope of activity of fedpol (notably data protection law, police law, criminal and administrative law, and contract law)
• Offer specialized advice regarding public sector personnel law and the management of fedpol internal directives
• Contribute to defending the interests of fedpol before federal authorities and courts
• Respond to access requests according to the LTrans

What makes you unique

• University degree in law at master's level, ideally accompanied by a bar admission
• Professional experience in the legislative field and a strong interest in the legal areas concerned
• Excellent writing skills, great ease in oral expression, and analytical mindset
• Sense of organization, creativity, high capacity for work, and a taste for working within interdisciplinary teams
• Very good active knowledge of at least two official languages

fedpol committed to Switzerland -- everywhere & all the time

The Directorate for Crime Prevention and Law (PCD) manages the competence centers responsible for crime prevention, legal issues, data compliance, and money laundering reporting (MROS), as well as the Violence during sporting events Directorate.
The Law Division is the fedpol competence center responsible for legal issues. It leads the office's legislative projects and advises Management and superiors, particularly on matters relating to personnel and public procurement.
