Die FachFrauen Umwelt (ffu-pee) are an association active throughout Switzerland in the fields of environment and equality. With over 1'000 members networked, the association promotes and supports women working in the areas of environment and sustainable development. It advocates for the professional advancement of women, equality in work structures, as well as the anchoring of sustainability in politics and professional practice.

With a view to the retirement of the current Managing Director, we are looking for a committed successor.

Your tasks

• Further development and implementation of the association strategy together with the board
• Management of ongoing association business
• Responsibility for projects, events, and campaigns
• Administrative and financial management, incl. fundraising
• Representation of ffu-pee towards partners, media, networks, and sponsors
• Internal and external communication as well as strengthening association visibility
• Support of the board and leadership of 2 permanent employees and several employees on mandate

You bring with you

• At least five years of experience in a comparable position or in the management of complex projects
• Strong interest in / commitment to environmental and gender issues; training or experience in these areas is an advantage
• Strategic thinking, independence, and initiative
• Sound knowledge in financial and administrative management as well as experience in fundraising
• Very good communication skills and enjoyment of networking
• Confident handling of social media (especially LinkedIn)
• Very good German and French skills; Italian and/or English are an advantage
• Structured, conscientious way of working with the ability to prioritize
