Sociocultural Animator at 80-100% - TSHM RMNA (unaccompanied minor asylum seekers)

Your mission: Within a committed team and in close collaboration with the Geneva socio-educational network, you contribute to the reception, integration, and inclusion of young unaccompanied asylum seekers (RMNA and ex-RMNA). You promote their autonomy and participation in the social, cultural, and sporting life of the canton, while strengthening their links with the territory's resources. Main tasks: Contribute to the reception, integration, and inclusion of young asylum seekers in Geneva society in partnership with the socio-educational network Accompany young people in the discovery and appropriation of institutional resources outside those specifically in charge of asylum, social, cultural, and sporting resources available in Geneva. Design and implement collective actions promoting their social and civic participation. Support the development of young people's ability to act by valuing their skills, resources, and ability to be actors in their journey. Ensure an intermediary and relay role between young people and partner institutions to support their autonomy, particularly during the transition to majority. Collaborate closely with the actors of the socio-educational network and direct young people to appropriate support structures. Work in complementarity with network professionals, respecting the missions and skills of each. Task description: Ensure regular presence in the reference shelter of the Hospice général welcoming RMNA, particularly through permanences. Design, organize, and animate sociocultural activities within the shelter and outside. Develop and carry out sociocultural projects in partnership with the Hospice général and territorial actors. Contribute to the development of a catalog of socioprofessional integration opportunities. Elaborate activity programs and ensure their follow-up, in accordance with the FASe's supervision standards. Participate in coordination meetings, colloquia, and exchange times with the shelter teams. Ensure fluid communication with the reference educators of the young people. Accompany young people in their professional integration procedures (discovery internships, experience internships), in coordination with the reference educators. To ensure good complementarity, individual follow-up is only carried out within the framework of socioprofessional integration. Internships (XP) and discovery internship: their implementation is done in complementarity with the reference educator. Actively participate in training, supervision, and reflection spaces proposed by the FASe institution. Hold a Bachelor's degree in social work, HES level or an equivalent university degree (education sciences, sociology, psychology, anthropology, ethnology. Or a State Diploma in Specialized Education (DEES), Higher State Diploma in Youth, Popular Education, and Sports (DESJEPS). For DEES or DESJEPS holders, obtaining SEFRI recognition during the first year of activity is required and will give access to the maximum function class. Confirmed experience in social action and accompaniment of adolescents and young adults. Experience with migrant and/or precarious public: an important asset. Good knowledge of migration and intercultural issues. Mastery of project methodology, collective action animation, and social situation analysis. Excellent network work capabilities and good knowledge of the Geneva social fabric. Ability to work autonomously while being part of a team dynamic. Sense of initiative, creativity, autonomy, and sense of responsibility. Good organizational skills, planning, ability to manage priorities and emergency situations. Writing skills and mastery of usual computer tools, rigor, and respect for deadlines. Work one to two weekends per month, in accordance with the CCT. RMNA Mandate – Specific organizational features of the TSHM team For young asylum seekers, strengthen the skills of activation and identification of places, actions, and resource people outside entities in charge of asylum and their schooling, including on cultural and sporting levels. The objective is to enable young people to (re)gain confidence in their abilities, feel useful, recognized, and supported. For any action taken, aim to facilitate reception, integration, and inclusion in Geneva society Provide specific follow-up/support as a relay between young people and institutions, aiming for autonomy, particularly during the transition to majority.
