Product Owner - Sovereign Data Platform

We are looking for a Product Owner to contribute to the development of the Sovereign Data Platform, transforming complex data into actionable insights that support informed decision-making and deliver measurable value.

ROLE ###

• Define and maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog for the Sovereign Data Platform based on business objectives, customer needs, market opportunities and technical dependencies
• Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, sales teams, data scientists, architects and engineering teams to gather requirements and align priorities
• Translate business needs into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, analytical requirements and product increments
• Be responsible for and prioritize the delivery roadmap, ensuring a continuous flow of high-value features and measurable business outcomes
• Drive the development of dashboards, analytical applications, anomaly detection capabilities, predictive analytics and AI-powered recommendations
• Work closely with UX and engineering teams to ensure intuitive user experiences, efficient information architecture and relevant data visualization
• Facilitate communication and alignment between stakeholders, providing transparency on priorities, dependencies, risks and delivery progress
• Collaborate with data engineering, software engineering, QA, DevOps and data science teams throughout the delivery cycle, including discovery, refinement, planning, testing and deployment activities
• Monitor product adoption, customer feedback and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and foster continuous product evolution
• Promote data-driven decision-making and best practices in analytics and insights across the organization

PROFILE ###

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, data analysis, information systems or a related field
• More than 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or in a comparable role in a data, analytics, business intelligence or software development environment
• Experience in managing and prioritizing product requirements in Agile/Scrum environments
• Good understanding of data platforms, analytics, reporting, dashboards and insights solutions
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, testable and value-oriented product requirements
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including business stakeholders, data engineers, software engineers, UX specialists and data scientists
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and results-oriented approach
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar product management platforms
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, predictive analytics or decision support systems is an asset
• Experience in government, compliance, traceability, fuel integrity, taxation or public sector is a plus
• Proficiency in English / French is an advantage
