What you bring:

• Completed legal studies, attorney admission (Anwaltspatent) mandatory as a public prosecutor
• Good knowledge of criminal and criminal procedural law as well as practical experience in criminal prosecution

In the absence of practical experience, there is the possibility of a fixed-term employment of 3 years as an assistant public prosecutor with the option of promotion to public prosecutor. In addition to the usual documents, we require a current extract from the debt enforcement register and the criminal register (subsequent submission possible in the further application process). We draw your attention to the fact that employment requires a successful security clearance.

Your working environment

We are responsible for criminal proceedings against adults in the Canton of Aargau at the Staatsanwaltschaft Aargau (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/dvi/strafverfolgung-strafvollzug/staatsanwaltschaft). We conduct the preliminary proceedings and, in close cooperation with the police, prosecute crimes and criminals. We issue penal orders, file indictments, and represent the state's criminal claim in court.
