Tasks

Your basic training lasts two years; during this time, you will receive your full salary. In the first year, you will learn everything essential for your new profession at the Zürcher Polizeischule ZHPS. In the second year, you will work at the Flughafenpolizei and already take on security-relevant tasks. After two years, you will complete the professional examination for the federal diploma «Polizist/in»; if you have successfully overcome this hurdle, you will be formally sworn in and admitted to our police corps.

• recognized professional qualification (EFZ), equivalent training or Matura
• impeccable reputation
• Age: at least 20 and at most 39 years old at the time of application receipt (until the 40th birthday)

• Visual acuity: unrestricted field of vision, color perception ability
• Driver's license: Category B
• Military/Civil protection/Civil service/Unfitness for service
