For the Kantonsspital Aarau (KSA), we are looking for several experienced clerks for outpatient and inpatient patient billing, starting immediately.

📋 Your Tasks

In patient administration, you ensure that medical services are billed correctly, completely, and on time.

Your tasks include:

• Independent processing of outpatient and inpatient patient billing
• Checking and correcting patient and case data
• Ensuring complete and timely invoicing
• Processing rejections, error logs, and outstanding invoices
• Handling and verifying guarantees of payment
• Written and telephone clarifications with health insurance companies
• Cooperation with clinics and medical staff
• Clarification of discrepancies in service recording
• Active support in reducing existing pending items

👩💻 What you bring with you

• Commercial or medical-administrative training or a comparable qualification
• Experience in patient billing or patient admission in a hospital, a clinic, or at an insurance company
• Knowledge of at least one of the tariff systems TARMED, TARDOC / outpatient flat rates or SwissDRG
• Experience in dealing with patients and insurance companies
• Good knowledge of SAP IS-H or a comparable hospital system
• Confident use of MS Office
• Independent, structured, and precise way of working
• Enjoyment of collaborating with various specialist departments
• Service-oriented thinking and good communication skills

Additionally, the following are an advantage:

• Experience in the billing of an acute care hospital
• Knowledge of the legal foundations KVG, VVG, UVG and IV
• Experience with guarantees of payment, rejections, and open items

And very importantly: You are a personality who does not shy away from challenges, but likes to roll up your sleeves and maintains an overview even with a larger workload.
