School Social Worker

The Schulsozialarbeitsverbund Sekundarschule Elgg comprises three school communities with four school locations. Sekundarschule Elgg, Primarschule Hagenbuch and the Primarschule Elgg with locations in See and Hofstetten. The SSA team includes four school social workers including team leadership. For the Primarschule Elgg we are looking for from 01.01.2027 a School Social Worker ## Your tasks are: ### • Low-threshold counseling and support for students, parents, teachers and the school management at two school locations (easily accessible by public transport). • Group counseling on current issues or conflicts. • Clarifications and drafting of corresponding reports and applications • Preventive work and projects with classes / groupings on social conflicts and life-relevant topics • Networking and interdisciplinary cooperation with teachers, school management, school authorities as well as with the various specialist offices in the municipality and the region • Cooperation with the Fachstelle Prävention for the implementation of standardized universal prevention. Your profile: ### • Completed training in social work or social pedagogy at the level of Fachhochschule or höhere Fachschule. • Professional experience in school social work or at the interface of youth welfare and school is desirable. • Competencies in the areas of prevention, crisis intervention (e.g. violence, child protection), counseling and project work • Personality with high communicative skills and good presentation skills.
