Apply Initial situation ### For a well-known forwarding company with a large customs department, we are looking for a skilled specialist from the declarant business. Specifically, someone who wants to lead a 4-5 person team. Vacancy No. 2639 ## Tasks ### leading the team in a professional capacity (approx. 7 employees) discussing and planning holidays and absences ("load control" within the team) conducting employee appraisals (together with the department manager) performing import customs clearances (little export) obtaining customs clearance instructions initiating corrections monitoring rebookings/settlements maintaining contacts with customers/customs authorities carrying out general commercial activities Requirements ### deep experience as a customs declarant Imp. (initial) team lead experience desired IT ### Word and Excel: good user knowledge Passar/ E-Dec Import: good knowledge ATLAS: advantageous (nice to have) Languages ### German: m+s very good English: advantageous (at forwarding company level) Age ### ab approx. 28 to 55 years Start date ### by arrangement Work location ### Basel Special details ### The department manager, an easy-going and uncomplicated supervisor, is looking forward to someone good to lead the (customs) import.
