Work location: Schaffhausen / Region (assignments in SH, Winterthur and Zürich) Workload: 80-100%, permanent employment, by agreement Tasks: Swiss IT service provider with over 35 years of experience in supporting SMEs. You advise, plan, implement and maintain IT infrastructures for B2B customers with a focus on on-premises and hybrid environments. - Analysis of existing customer environments, recording requirements and advising on technical solutions - Design and dimensioning of server, storage, network, firewall, backup and virtualization solutions - Planning and implementation of infrastructure projects: Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, RDS, VMware/Hyper-V, Switching, VLAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewall, M365 and Entra ID - Planning, migration and support of VoIP and Teams telephony solutions (incl. Swisscom SBC) - Backup and recovery concepts, Endpoint Security, monitoring and remote management - Demanding tasks in 2nd and 3rd level support, situationally also 1st level - Automation with PowerShell as well as evaluation of new technologies incl. AI - Technical project responsibility and documentation Profile: - Completed training in informatics, ICT system engineering or similar - Sound experience in planning, implementation and support of IT infrastructures in the business customer environment - Knowledge in several areas such as Windows Server/AD, RDS, VMware/Hyper-V, Storage, network, firewall, backup, M365/Entra ID, VoIP/SIP - Advantageous: Barracuda RMM, SentinelOne, Scale Computing, 3CX, Veeam, Mount10, MS SQL, PowerShell, Conditional Access, Linux - Analytical, independent, solution-oriented and customer-oriented - Very good German skills, understanding of Swiss dialect, English for documentation Offered is a versatile field of activity with holistic responsibility, exciting infrastructure and migration projects, direct influence on solution designs, a small, experienced team with short decision-making paths, modern technologies as well as long-term development opportunities.
