The Waterways department of the Bezirk March is responsible for flowing waters. This area of responsibility essentially includes the water police, hydropower use, waterway engineering, revitalizations, flood protection, and the supervision of the dam system.
The Märchler electorate has assigned new tasks to the Bezirk in the areas of flood protection and the dam system. It is now necessary to build new structures so that the Bezirk March can implement these new tasks.

In an initial phase, your active cooperation in building and designing the structures for the reorganization of flood protection is required.
Your future core tasks:
In this demanding function, together with the dam masters, you will organize and accompany construction and maintenance measures on flowing waters. Leading and accompanying flood protection and revitalization projects from initial preliminary studies through to realization (including land acquisition) up to subsidization and accounting is also part of the area of responsibility. In doing so, legal and engineering specifications are coordinated with the concerns of various interest groups and balanced, implementable solutions are developed. Furthermore, you will support the Leiter Gewässer in assessing building applications for technical interventions and structural changes to flowing waters, as well as in processing concession applications for hydropower use and material extraction.

For this responsible position, you have a basic technical construction training with further education (ideally towards hydraulic engineering/waterway restoration or civil engineering site manager) and can look back on several years of professional experience. Public law processes are familiar to you and you are used to implementing projects. With personal qualities such as assertiveness, friendliness, negotiation skills, and reliability, you ensure acceptance at all levels.
