Teacher for a BPI2 class (60 %) ###

Tasks ###

You will teach at the Oeschberg location (Koppigen) max. 18 female migrants / male migrants of an integration class (BPI2) in the subjects Career Choice, Mathematics, Language and Communication, and ITK. The class starts in February (Cycle 2). As a reference teacher, you are responsible for some young people in the class and, in this function, are the contact person for regional partners. You take on pedagogical responsibility and work together as a class team. Additionally, you will take on the role of class teacher for 50%. In addition to subject competence, the acquisition/promotion of social competence and the mediation of our culture and social rules are among the goals of a BPI school year. Due to uncertain learner numbers, the position is limited to one year with the possibility of extension.

Requirements ###

You are flexible, patient, resilient, and able to lead and promote young people in difficult situations and from foreign cultures in a benevolent, tolerant, but also consistent manner. You are a team player and enjoy working with people. You possess a teaching certificate (Sek1 or Sek2). Ideally, you bring professional experience in a bridge offer and DaZ/DaF experience.
