This is what you can achieve: Responsibility for the further development of manufacturing technologies such as injection molding, automation, extrusion, or joining technologies for the highly automated production of plastic consumables Development and definition of manufacturing concepts and production processes for new products and product changes Ensuring manufacturable, robust, and economical product design through Design for Manufacturing Industrialization of new products, processes, and manufacturing technologies from the concept phase to serial production Specification, procurement, and implementation of tools, equipment, and production systems Establishment, standardization, and harmonization of manufacturing standards within the global production network Building up technical expertise as well as evaluation and introduction of new manufacturing technologies Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders throughout the entire product lifecycle What you bring with you: Completed degree (FH/ETH/University) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, production or automation engineering Several years of experience in Manufacturing, Process or Industrial Engineering related to the industrialization and serial production of technical products, preferably of plastic consumables in medical technology Sound knowledge in at least one of the manufacturing technologies automation, injection molding, extrusion, or joining of plastics Experience in the development, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes and production systems Understanding of Design for Manufacturing as well as manufacturable product and process design Knowledge in the area of process validation and qualification of production processes is an advantage Experience in a regulated environment, ideally medical technology, is an advantage Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form Willingness for occasional travel (< 20%) How to apply: Learn more about professional opportunities at Hamilton under Jobs | Hamilton Medical Do you share our values and do you feel at home in a collegial, innovative, and down-to-earth environment?
