Clinic Manager Internal Medicine

As a Category A training clinic for General Internal Medicine, we combine broad clinical care with high professional specialization and a dynamic interdisciplinary environment. Annually, we care for around 3'500 inpatient patients. In our interdisciplinary emergency center, we also care for over 30'000 patients per year - versatile and with high medical quality. Our range of services includes acute geriatrics, angiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, cardiology, nephrology, neurology, oncology, and pneumology, whose outpatient clinics represent an important pillar of specialized medical care in the region. ###

What awaits you

• You support the clinic management in the operational and strategic management of the clinic and actively contribute to organizational and business management issues
• You analyze and optimize processes and interfaces and develop efficient and future-oriented solutions together with the involved teams
• You participate in budget, forecast, controlling, and reporting and create sound decision-making bases with meaningful analyses
• You take responsibility for interdisciplinary projects as well as transformation and organizational development processes and accompany them from idea to implementation
• You actively shape the cooperation within the clinic and with central areas such as IT, HR, and finance, ensure a good flow of information, and support the clinic management in the preparation, follow-up, and coordination of important topics and meetings

How you help us move forward

• You have a university degree (FH/University) in health management, health economics, business administration, or a comparable field of study
• You bring several years of professional experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in an acute care hospital, as well as experience in business management and organizational development
• You think strategically and analytically, are confident in dealing with key figures, budget, and controlling instruments, and know how to derive concrete recommendations for action from them
• You bring experience in project and change management
• You are organizationally strong, communicative, and think in networks, and you manage to bring together different perspectives and interests and successfully drive changes forward
• You convince with initiative, decisiveness, and a hands-on mentality: You like to take responsibility, remain sovereign even in demanding situations, and bring topics to their goal pragmatically and in a solution-oriented manner

The Spitäler Schaffhausen include the Kantonsspital, the Psychiatrischen Dienste, the Praxen Radiologie und Kardiologie Posthof Neuhausen, as well as the Praxis Neurologie Schaffhausen Zentrum. With over 1'700 employees, we secure the extended basic medical and nursing care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11'000 inpatient and 90'000 outpatient patients. In addition, we are an important training site in the canton.
