Product Manager 80-100% (m/w/d)

What you will be doing Product responsibility & strategy • Participation in the further development of products throughout the entire life cycle - from analysis to further development to introduction • Support in the development and maintenance of product vision, product strategy, and product roadmap in agreement with experienced Product Managers, Portfolio Management, Business Owners, and relevant stakeholders • Preparation of decision-making bases for costs, benefits, impacts, and priorities of product projects • Participation in the assessment of target conflicts between legal requirements, customer requirements, technical feasibility, and available resources • Gradual takeover of own product responsibility - depending on experience, maturity, and complexity of the product Requirements management & product design • Systematic recording, analysis, and structuring of customer requirements, technical needs, and legal changes • Participation in the derivation and description of product variants, epics, and features • Technical consideration and co-design of product concepts in close cooperation with Business Analysis, departments, development, and architecture • Support in evaluating requirements in terms of benefits, urgency, feasibility, and impact on existing products Collaboration & implementation • Close collaboration with agile development teams to support high-quality and timely implementation • Regular technical exchange with customers, Product Owners, Business Analysis, development, architecture, testing, and operations • Contribution to effective, solution-oriented collaboration across team and departmental boundaries • Support in preparing, accompanying, and following up on alignments with technical committees and relevant stakeholders Why you will succeed • Completed higher education (HF/FH/Uni) in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification • Initial experience in product management, business analysis, project management, or a comparable role in a digital environment • Basic knowledge of agile product development; experience with Scrum or SAFe® is an advantage • Interest in complex technical, organizational, and technical relationships • Analytical, structured way of working and enjoyment of getting familiar with new topics • Pronounced customer and solution orientation as well as a high quality awareness • Communication strength and enjoyment of collaboration with different stakeholder groups • Very good German language skills, additional national languages are an advantage We offer • Challenging product management task with development perspective and increasing design scope • Opportunity to get familiar with a complex and socially relevant product environment and to take on more responsibility step by step • Collaboration with committed colleagues and experts from the social insurance landscape of Switzerland and Liechtenstein • Flexible working time models, home office and workation possibilities, and modern offices in a central location near the main train station • Free smartphone with subscription, half-fare subscription, attractive further training opportunities • At least 25 days of vacation and a collegial, forward-looking work environment Become part of our team Are you ready for a new challenge with a workplace near St. Gallen main train station and home office possibility?
