The Cardiology Department of Kantonsspital Aarau AG is the competence center for heart diseases in the Canton of Aargau. The department operates three cardiac catheterization laboratories (especially also interventions for structural heart diseases).

Your tasks

• You support our team in a modern cardiology, which covers the entire spectrum of invasive and non-invasive cardiology at the highest level (coronary angiographies, Mitraclips, TAVI, PFO-/ASD-/LAA closures).
• You independently perform interventional procedures on the coronaries, utilizing the most modern techniques.
• Together with the senior physicians, you are responsible for the supervision and further training of our assistant physicians.
• You perform leadership tasks and actively develop cardiology, especially the field of interventional cardiology.
• You are part of the cardiological on-call team and actively participate in colloquia, reports, and rounds.
• Active maintenance of contact with referring physicians, both internally and externally, is part of your daily tasks.

Your profile

• As a committed, communicative personality, you value collegial, professional, and constructive cooperation.
• You possess a Swiss medical diploma or an equivalent training with MEBEKO recognition and already hold a specialist title FMH Cardiology.
• Furthermore, you have sound clinical experience with a focus on interventional cardiology (coronary interventions and, if applicable, also structural interventions).
• In addition to professional competence, we expect high social competence, which is a basic requirement for the successful exercise of this interesting and versatile position.
• Part-time in job sharing is possible by arrangement.
