Managing Director (80-100%)

We are looking for a Managing Director (80-100%) ## starting November 1, 2026, or by arrangement. The national office in Bern provides all services of Pink Cross. The six employees fulfill diverse tasks in numerous projects and work together with various partners. The office conducts all association business and represents Pink Cross towards members and third parties. Your tasks ### You manage the office and lead the employees. In doing so, you yourself have various operational tasks, particularly in the areas of politics, media, and fundraising. You represent Pink Cross in public and towards partner organizations, in working groups, committees, and other contexts. You attend the board meetings in an advisory capacity. In your work, you orient yourself according to statutory and strategic guidelines.  Ideally, you bring ### • You possess the necessary qualifications and work experience, can coach employees, and fulfill the diverse tasks (politics, media, association, finance, project management). You are used to quickly grasping even content-wise complex topics, deriving concrete tasks, and completing them responsibly, independently, and with high quality awareness and the necessary flexibility. • You can express yourself stylistically confidently in German or French, both written and spoken. You can communicate in the respective other language as well as in English. Italian language skills are an advantage.  • You understand the functioning of Swiss politics. You follow current debates and know the organizations, networks, and structures of the LGBTIQ community. You find your way in a complex working environment and can fully exploit the role of an NGO in the sense of the strategy. You develop innovative and majority-capable solutions for current challenges. • You appreciate contact with a wide variety of people from all parts of Switzerland. You can empathize with a wide variety of life realities. Thanks to your belonging and connection to the gay/queer community, you know the topics and life realities of gay, bi, and queer men.
