As part of our infrastructure team, you are responsible for the operation and further development of our Linux and Kubernetes platforms and contribute to providing a stable, secure, and future-proof IT infrastructure. In doing so, you work in an agile and self-organized environment and actively contribute to the further development of our infrastructure services and common operational standards. Your responsibilities: * Operation and further development of our Linux server infrastructure * Responsibility for the reliable operation and continuous further development of our Kubernetes platform together with the team * Automation and orchestration of operational and configuration processes * Ensuring and further development of monitoring and alerting for our central infrastructure services * Collaboration in 2nd-level support as well as in the analysis and sustainable resolution of disturbances * Active knowledge exchange as well as collaboration on common technical standards and solutions * Depending on experience and interest, you can additionally contribute to further infrastructure topics such as storage, backup, or virtualization Are these tasks that you enjoy? Profile * Higher computer science education and/or several years of professional experience in Linux or infrastructure engineering * Sound Linux knowledge and experience in the operation of productive infrastructures * Experience with Kubernetes or comparable container platforms incl. CI/CD pipelines * Experience with automation & orchestration as well as configuration management * Experience in the use and operation of monitoring solutions * Strong awareness of IT security and security-relevant aspects in infrastructure operation * Independent, structured, and responsible way of working * Ideally, you bring experience in agile and self-organized teams and are used to taking responsibility together and supporting decisions within the team * Strong customer, service, and team orientation as well as enjoyment of collaboration and knowledge exchange * Ideally, basic database knowledge * Knowledge in technologies such as Icinga, SaltStack, NetApp, or Elastic is also an advantage.
