For the Canton of Bern and the adjacent regions, we are looking for a technically competent, strong-leadership, and customer-oriented personality as a Senior Project Manager Road Construction in Management.

In this function, you are the driving force in your division across all project phases, from the idea through the preparation of the offer to the execution. As part of the management, you delegate tasks to the engineers in your team, orchestrate the supporting services from the project office, and set positive signals through the way you lead your projects. Together with your supervisor, you help to further develop the Business Unit Road Construction in the relevant market and consolidate customer relationships in your region. You value the short paths within the organization as well as the active and respectful exchange across all hierarchical levels.

Your tasks

• Overall project management from A to Z in road construction for the public sector in the Canton of Bern
• Leadership, promotion, and further development of the engineers and specialists in your team
• Planning and organization of resources within the Road Construction department in cooperation with the Head of the Business Unit
• Support of strategically important major customers in your region
• Co-design and influence on internal business processes and workflows

Your profile

• Higher education in civil engineering at a FH or the ETH
• Several years of relevant professional experience in road construction
• Passionate project manager with the flair to further develop colleagues as a coach
• Communicative personality with a winning appearance both externally and internally
