Special Installation Technician in Overhead Lines

This is what you can achieve. • Lead your team to carry out simple maintenance and construction orders. • Implement safety measures according to the safety device (RTE 20100) in the role of safety manager and assess electrical safety in exceptional events. • Take on special functions (e.g. person in charge of work / person in charge of facilities) and perform assigned, reasonable tasks. • Report technical defects on plants/machines and actively contribute improvement suggestions. • Perform switching work on overhead line and traction power plants, issue switching orders and carry out earthing work independently. • Operate special vehicles for overhead line construction, carry out shunting trips and accompany operational deployments. This is what you bring. • Completed 3- to 4-year vocational training, for example as a production mechanic, track builder or network electrician. • Ideally, you have the qualification as an overhead line installer and have experience with devices for overhead line construction. If this is not the case, we still look forward to your application and support you in building up these skills. • Willingness to complete the training as a safety manager (if necessary also as a safety guard according to RTE 20100) as well as willingness for standby service. • Very good location-relevant language skills at level C1. • Driver's license category B.
