Project Engineer High Voltage Bushings

You will lead technical optimization projects in the area of high voltage bushings for transformers and improve design and manufacturing processes.

Tasks

• Lead and coordinate internal projects for product and process optimization in the area of high voltage bushings
• Analyze existing designs and manufacturing processes with regard to efficiency, quality, and costs
• Identify areas for improvement and implement corresponding measures
• Close cooperation with design, manufacturing, quality, and other departments
• Create technical documentation, monitor progress, and report regularly to management
• Support the industrialization of new technologies and materials

Profile

• Completed technical degree (mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or similar) or equivalent qualification
• Professional experience in leading technical internal development or improvement projects
• Solid mechanical knowledge, ideally in the area of electrical insulators or high voltage components
• Experience with Lean methods, Six Sigma, or similar improvement approaches is an advantage
• Structured, solution-oriented way of working and strong communication skills
• Fluent German and English in speaking and writing
