Job description ## Following a political and strategic desire to strengthen the fight against economic and organized crime, the Financial Brigade of the Vaud Police, in collaboration with the Public Prosecutor's Office, is setting up a criminal assets seizure group. This group will have the mission of intensifying the patrimonial confiscation of assets acquired fraudulently by conducting its own investigations and supporting other brigades of the Vaud Police and the Prosecutors of the Public Prosecutor's Office (MP). In your capacity as a specialized judicial police officer (APJS) in the field of accounting and financial audit, you will participate in investigations and operations to fight economic crime, draft reports and participate in hearings, analyze investigation information, support investigators and magistrates, propose and implement solutions for the seizure and confiscation of criminal assets. You will participate in the training of investigators and magistrates in your area of competence. Responsibilities ## • Analyze investigation information and present it in a relevant form for judicial purposes. • Carry out examinations or analyses of accounts, financial flows and determine the amount of damages. • In their capacity as a delegated APJS, draft and sign reports attached to the judicial file, conduct hearings, participate in police operations and letters rogatory. • Detect, develop and propose concepts for developing new investigative means against economic crime and the seizure of criminal assets. • Contribute to close relations and permanent liaison with the Ecole des Sciences Criminelles of UNIL, EPFL, HEIG-VD and/or other reference schools/institutions in the economic and/or banking field. • Contribute to the technological monitoring of specific tools. • Participate, in collaboration with the management of the financial brigade and the MP, in the setting up of a group specialized in the seizure of criminal assets and work actively within it once established. • Provide training related to their specialization to the actors in the criminal justice chain. • Perform on-call duties during the week, weekends and public holidays. • Equipped with personal security equipment, except firearms. You will also find additional information on the activities of the Vaud Cantonal Police at: www.policier.ch Qualifications ## • Master's level training in the economic, financial or human sciences field. • CAS, DAS, MAS, Federal Diploma useful to the function (chartered accountant - auditor - reviewer - fiduciary) desired. • Diploma in economic crime or title deemed equivalent desired. • Experience in the economic and/or financial field. • Good knowledge of economic, financial or commercial matters. • Excellent writing skills and good knowledge of computer programs (Excel, analysis programs, etc). • Sense of responsibility and public service ethics, capacity for adaptation and flexibility. • Spirit of mutual aid and collaboration. • Capacity for analysis and synthesis. • Resistance to stress and discretion. • Driving license (category B), obligation to make your private vehicle available to the service. • Residential radius: maximum 45 minutes from the workplace. • Swiss or in the process of naturalization.
