Job Description

Your daily tasks and responsibilities:

• Active preparation of engineering activities for new projects
• Translating customer specifications / PM technical specifications / interior design files into engineering data (drawings, specifications, lists, etc.)
• Performing predictive analyses (water consumption, weight and balance, aircraft loading, electrical load, etc.)
• Supporting sales and interior design on technical aspects in the initial phase of a project
• Preparing technical content for presentations during client meetings
• Verifying the feasibility of client / designer requests
• Defining long-lead items, requesting quotes, and placing orders.
• Identifying risk items / project novelties requiring early development
• Initiating the development of novelties (internally or with third parties)
• Participating in the establishment of budgets for new projects or modifications (quoting activity)
• Supporting continuous improvement and innovation
• Developing new processes, technical instructions, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering or a relevant field
• Deep knowledge of fundamental physics, technical mechanics, aerospace technology & materials, electrical & mechanical systems and certification requirements in VIP aviation
• More than 5 years of experience in aeronautical engineering / VIP aviation
• Proactive behavior with excellent written and oral communication skills in English - French and/or German are an advantage
• Ability to work independently
• Precision and great attention to detail and safety
• Ideally training in aerospace engineering, otherwise experience in automotive / transport
