Nurse Unit Manager at 80-100 %

The médecine 3 unit is a general medicine unit in acute care. Its multidisciplinary team welcomes patients 24h a day and 7j a week. Your missions • Lead and supervise a team composed of approximately forty collaborators • Manage and coordinate the organization of nursing care for a 24-bed unit including general medicine beds • Guarantee efficient patient care and ensure the quality of care in compliance with current protocols and recommendations • Guarantee the application of professional ethics principles and the diffusion of care values • Functional supervision of teams, support for new arrivals, and ensure the development of skills within their department (continuing education) • Organize the unit in an optimal and efficient manner in collaboration with different partners Your profile • Bachelor of Science HES-SO in nursing or a title deemed equivalent recognized by the Swiss Red Cross • Authorization to practice a health profession in the canton of Neuchâtel • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an acute care unit • Management training, proximity management, or the desire to follow the training • Experience in team management, an asset Your skills • Ability to lead, manage, and unite a team • Sense of responsibility and natural leadership • Interpersonal skills in communication and conflict management • Teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration • Sense of priorities, ability to manage the unexpected, and stress • Being proactive, flexible, and available • Knowledge of standard software a plus (Outlook, Carefolio, POLYPOINT, Opale) Additional information • Place of work: site de Pourtalès, Neuchâtel • Start date: 1er octobre 2026 or to be agreed • Information: Mme Marie-Laure Jacquot-Pegeot, Infirmière cheffe de départements médecine-oncologie-chirurgie, +41 79 559 50 55
