Commercial Training Manager Austria & Switzerland (m/f/d) This position is field-based and works within the Diabetes Care division, where we help people with diabetes manage their health with revolutionary products that provide accurate data to make better-informed decisions. The Opportunity • Development and implementation of the training strategy: Training and/or development and organization of training for the commercial organization in Austria and Switzerland on products, sales methodologies, treatment trends, and studies in the therapeutic field of diabetology • The position reports to the General Manager Austria & Switzerland, Strategic Partnerships DACH for Abbott Diabetes Care Key Responsibilities • Responsible for the development and implementation of the training strategy for the Diabetes Care division in Austria and Switzerland • Alignment of the training strategy with the commercial leadership team as well as with the EMEA training organization • Identification of training needs within the commercial organization • Development of training curricula based on identified needs using cutting-edge adult training methodologies and systems • Organization of virtual as well as in-person training • Conducting training sessions, virtual and in-person, taking into account the knowledge levels and language abilities of the trainees • Performing regular knowledge checks including the implementation of feedback loops on the training provided Qualifications: • Proven experience in adult training within a commercial organization • Very good language skills in German, French, and English • University degree or comparable executive training in adult training and/or coaching • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the pharmaceutical / medical technology industry • Skills and experience in using cutting-edge training tools • Excellent communication and negotiation skills combined with cross-functional teamwork • Relevant professional experience in adult training and/or coaching • Experience working with Allego is a plus • Proven experience in using modern training methods (including but not limited to: webinars, podcasts, video on demand, virtual quizzes, etc.) • Ability to travel flexibly mainly in Europe for at least 30% of the time Follow your professional aspirations at Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
