Head of Procurement Construction Materials You do not want to manage. You want to shape. Procurement is increasingly becoming a strategic success factor. At HGC Handel AG, you will take on a newly created leadership role with national responsibility and actively help shape the further expansion of operative procurement. You will lead 13 employees at five locations throughout Switzerland, further develop processes and structures, and create the basis for a high-performance, cross-location procurement organization. Your task In this key position, you are responsible for operative procurement in the field of construction materials with an annual purchasing volume of over CHF 200 Mio. Together with your team, you will further develop the organization, establish a modern lead-buyer structure, and create uniform processes and standards throughout Switzerland. In doing so, you will work closely with Category Management, Sales, and Supply Chain, optimize procurement processes, further develop strategic supplier relationships, and ensure an economical and reliable supply. Your profile You are an experienced leader with a passion for purchasing and supply chain. Ideally, you bring the following: • Several years of leadership and purchasing experience, preferably in construction material trade, technical wholesale, or industry • Experience in the further development of organizations and processes • Negotiation skills and entrepreneurial thinking • Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system • German at native level as well as good French skills (at least B2) • Willingness to travel within Switzerland What you can look forward to • A national leadership role with a lot of scope for design • Leadership of a dedicated team of 13 employees at five locations • Responsibility for a purchasing volume of over CHF 200 Mio. • Close cooperation with the departments Category Management, Supply Chain, and Sales • Company vehicle with private use • Attractive employment conditions, modern work equipment, and an advanced pension fund.
