Finance and Projects Specialist 80 - 100% # The Health Directorate of the Canton of Zürich ensures high-quality and safe healthcare. The Finance Department in the General Secretariat is responsible for the financial management of the directorate and accounting. In addition, it is responsible for the area of individual premium reductions (IPV) and checks the correct use of the allocated state contributions by means of state contribution audits. For the department, we are looking for a Finance and Projects Specialist starting January 1, 2027, or by arrangement. Together with the Head of Controlling and the Head of Accounting, you will engage in a diverse range of tasks and drive projects forward. Your tasks ### • Collaboration in the implementation of the unified financing of inpatient and outpatient services (EFAS) and its further development in the area of finance • Support with reporting, the annual financial statements, and the preparation of the annual report • Preparation of audit-ready documents for the financial control • Development of applications and financial decision-making bases for the directorate management, the Government Council, and parliamentary commissions • Collaboration in the further development of the internal control system (IKS), financial processes, and in digitalization projects • Reporting and further development of directorate-wide risk management • Independent management of finance-relevant projects Your profile ### You have a university degree in finance or a comparable qualification (e.g., auditor, expert in accounting and controlling) and bring several years of practical experience in the field of accounting, controlling, and/or auditing. You are used to dealing with contact persons at various levels. We are looking for a committed, flexible, and team-oriented personality with a high sense of responsibility and an independent, structured, and result-oriented way of working. Experience with finance-relevant processes in administration or the Swiss healthcare system as well as good Excel, data analysis, and SAP skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
