Your tasks

As a member of the Executive Board, you will assume overall responsibility for finance and services and lead the associated employees both technically and personally. You will manage financial and operating accounting, closures, budget, controlling, and liquidity planning, and create reliable decision-making bases for the Executive Board and the Board of Directors. A central role is the preparation of offers for commissioned scheduled services as well as cooperation with public bodies. In addition, you are responsible for payroll accounting and personnel administration, coordinate IT and suppliers, ensure quality management according to ISO, and accompany internal as well as external audits. With a clear eye for effective processes, digitalization, and costs, you will develop the organization further and actively participate in strategy, risk management, and cross-departmental projects.

What you bring with you

• Sound business administration education or further training, for example, Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration FH, or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in a comparable leadership function as well as high proficiency in financial and operating accounting; knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER is an advantage
• Practice in budgeting, controlling, liquidity planning, payroll, and social insurance; experience in public transport or in a regulated environment is welcome
• Strong IT affinity, very good Excel skills, and enjoyment in further developing processes and systems; ABACUS knowledge is a plus
• Analytical and networked thinking, entrepreneurial action, as well as a structured, exact, and solution-oriented way of working
• Convincing leadership and communication skills, high service orientation, negotiation skills, integrity, and discretion
• Connection to the Canton of Uri and understanding of the regional, political, and social contexts
