(Junior) Manager Sustainability (m/f/d) 80-100%

Your tasks ##

• You plan and coordinate sustainability projects in various areas, such as biodiversity and climate. This also includes the implementation of the frameworks, guidelines and processes specified by the Lidl Stiftung.
• You coordinate the annual CSR(D) key figure process, evaluate the data and participate in the creation of our sustainability report.
• You operate and coordinate the management system to fulfill due diligence and reporting obligations according to VSoTr, with a particular focus on child labor and the procurement of non-trade goods.
• You support the development of our Corporate Affairs activities, especially in internal and external sustainability communication, and work closely with various specialist departments and external partners.
• Joy in building a sustainability community, planning volunteer assignments and accompanying donation projects.

Your profile ##

• Completed studies (Uni/FH) preferably with a focus on sustainability management, environmental sciences or business administration.
• Several years of professional experience and sound knowledge of relevant sustainability topics - ideally in the food or retail industry - paired with a high affinity for ecological and social issues in a private sector context.
• Experience in project management, assertiveness and good handling of different stakeholders.
• High affinity for the preparation of key figures, conceptual and analytical skills as well as quick comprehension.
• Very good self-organization, structured way of working and joy in independent work.
• Good oral and written expression in German, good English skills as well as knowledge of another national language is an advantage.
