Specialist in Hand Surgery Clinic for Hand and Plastic Surgery per 1. October 2026 or by arrangement 80 - 100% For our Clinic for Hand and Plastic Surgery, we are looking for a specialist in hand surgery (Switzerland) or a surgical specialist with a sub-specialty in hand surgery as a Senior Physician (Oberärztin / Oberarzt) as of 1. October 2026. As a European-accredited "Hand Trauma and Replantation Center" of the FESSH, our team covers the entire spectrum of hand surgical care, including replantations. The management of the clinic currently consists of a Clinic Director/Chief Physician, a Deputy Chief Physician of Plastic Surgery, and a Deputy Chief Physician of Hand Surgery/Head of Hand Surgery. The hand surgery team consists of 3 Senior Physicians and 2 resident physicians. Together with the Plastic Surgery team, it also has rotation assistants as well as 5 clinical specialists. This is how we are communal personal & fair unique progressive Your tasks You participate in the hand and plastic surgical on-call services in the team In addition, you make an important contribution to further training and supervise our resident physicians during operations and consultations as well as on the occasion of internal training events Furthermore, you develop a specialty area within hand surgery for yourself and for the clinic Your profile You have completed training as a specialist in hand surgery or are about to obtain it, or you possess the specialist title in Plastic Surgery or Orthopedics/Traumatology and have a strong interest in hand surgery and the corresponding sub-specialty You have relevant experience in the entire hand surgery field, including replantation, and cover the requirements and tasks of a Senior Physician, or would like to undertake these with increasing experience and suitability in the future with a corresponding opportunity for advancement You are a team player, open to new challenges, and possess a high sense of responsibility Readiness for interdisciplinary cooperation and interest in further training are a matter of course for you Do you have any questions?
