Social Pedagogical Family Companion

We are looking for reinforcement! The Sozialatelier GmbH is a company based in Olten and has a branch in Dornach. We offer services for specialist authorities, youth advocacy offices, courts and social services in the field of social work. Our focus is on social pedagogical family accompaniment and visitation rights accompaniment. To expand our team, we are looking for a qualified person, for the Dornach/SO location, starting after agreement. Social Pedagogical Family Companion 60- 80% ## These are your main tasks ### You work as a social pedagogical family companion in the immediate everyday life of families from different cultures and religions, who are in acute crises or have been in turbulent life situations for a longer period and need support in educational matters. You strengthen the role of those responsible for education and contribute to the expansion of their competencies. You support the family in finding a constructive way to deal with tensions. At the Dornach location, you work in the cantons of Solothurn and Basel-Landschaft. Your area of responsibility ### • You work mostly on behalf of the authorities and ensure good communication with guardians and/or the KESB. • You ensure child protection and create recommendations for the assigning authorities. • You maintain a trusting and respectful approach to the life world and privacy of families. • You mediate and support aid offers for parents and children, if necessary. • You are responsible for visitation accompaniments. • You document your work and create reports for the authorities. This is what you bring with you ### As an empathetic and assertive person, you have a degree in Social Pedagogy/Social Work FH/HFS or in Psychology, Educational Sciences or Special Needs Education. Further training in Social Pedagogical Family Accompaniment (CAS), Family Counseling or Family Therapy would be ideal. The following points further complement your profile ### • You have fun and interest in working with families, children and young people in special circumstances and have a positive and motivating attitude. • Systemic and solution-oriented thinking and acting are familiar to you. • As a appreciative and resilient person, you actively address conflicts and keep a cool head even in challenging situations. • You have a team-oriented and at the same time independent way of working. • You have stylistically correct German in word and writing, any additional language is a plus. You have solid computer skills (MS-Office) and enjoy working with digital tools. • You possess a driver's license category B.
